Mark Vega, the General Manager at McAllen Public Utility, visited our test well site last week in Starr County, Texas. Mark is accountable to oversee all aspects of water and wastewater for the City of McAllen. We have been in discussions to understand how our geothermal system designs for geopressured formations may be able to provide electrical power from an independent microgrid to reduce the cost of water desalination that the City of McAllen has been evaluating for years.
